Full-stack Developer
THE ROLE
Permanent/Full-time
Location – Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (other locations via remote working will be acceptable for the right candidate)
Salary – up to 45K
We are seeking a talented C# .net core developer, ideally with experience of React/Angular for the frontend to join our team, developing a variety of modules for our SaaS platform using technologies such as
- .Net Core back end
- SQL Server / Snowflake
- Experience of React or Angular front end
- Microservice Architecture (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Jira/Bitbucket for Git and CI/CD
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:
- Writing high quality, maintainable code that is easy to read and test
- Identifying and improving areas of our code base that could be made more efficient, more secure, or easier to maintain
- Carrying out code reviews with the Lead Developer and other developers, actively reviewing other team member’s code to underpin good development practices
- Creating system components from scratch to help us expand our client offering and to fulfil business requirements.
- Actively contributing to planning meetings, including advising on the product backlog, and sizing user stories
- Engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and deliver an exceptional product
- Staying up to speed on emerging development techniques and technologies, and suggesting improvements to our development stack
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
The person filling this role will have:
- A proven track record of creating commercial, c# .net core applications
- Experience designing SQL Server databases and writing efficient, optimised queries & stored procedures
- Version and code management, (we use Jira and Bitbucket)
It’s not essential but would help if you have
- Understanding and experience of implementing microservices
- Prior experience working with cloud hosting environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Upto £45,000 depending on experience
